On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise, from
1962's Dr No to this year's Skyfall, the Barbican Museum created a unique exhibition showcasing the
inside story of the design and style of the world's most influential and iconic
movie brand.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art Schiaparelli and
Prada: Impossible Conversations May 10–August 19, 2012
The exhibition showcases approximately one hundred designs
and forty accessories by Schiaparelli (1890–1973) from the late 1920s to the
early 1950s and by Prada from the late 1980s to the present.
Martin-Gropious Bau Museum Diane Arbus 22 June to 23 September 2012 The Martin-Gropius-Bau
presents a selection of two hundred photographs that afford an opportunity to
explore the origins and aspirations in the photography of Diane Arbus. The
exhibition shows all of the artist’s iconic photograph.
